Pacific Link College Ras al Khaimah
- Mission, Philosophy and Values
PLC RAK Campus has always emphasized providing quality, innovative, practical education. These factors are key in supporting students to succeed in their goals. PLC has done all this via a strong focus on student services and assistance, as well as learning strategies that combine teaching by industry leaders, guest lectures and industry visits.
Cooperative placement (Co-op) in the industry also plays a key role in student success; hence PLC RAK has a dedicated placement department to guarantee internship/placement. PLC RAK also has direct contracts with multiple organizations across the UAE for student co-op placement. PLC RAK also emphasized the importance of diversity in students, faculty and staff.
- Vision
PLC is operating its campus in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This move will similarly connect all the emirates of the UAE, and also bring our presence to most of the Arabic and Asian countries. PLC RAK will also be growing its programs to accommodate human resource demands in the UAE, including those in accounting, business, technology and social work.
- Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah located around 45 minutes from Dubai has the advantage of a lower cost of living and affordable comforts. RAK offers a thriving community feel, stunning beaches, breathtaking mountain ranges, and outdoor adventures, all at a modest price for everyone to enjoy. RAK is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty. The majestic Hajar mountains & the highest peak on the UAE Jebel Jais, form the perfect backdrop to this beautiful city.
- Our History
Established in 2010, PLC main campus established in Canada began by focusing on skill development, which to this day is offered to international students. After opening its first career-centered campus in Guildford, Surrey, British Columbia in 2017, PLC quickly opened its second campus in neighboring Burnaby in 2018.
